Case 1: Removable Full Dentures

There was a time when losing all of ones teeth was almost a fact of life for many people. Today this can almost always be avoided with even the most basic level of professional dental care, resonable oral hygiene and proper dietary habits. That said, there are still many people that end up in full dentures or have been wearing the same ones for many years. Old dentures become unstable, the teeth and pink acrylic wear over time and become very unattractive. Sometimes they add many years to a persons appearance. Often they are warn severely enough to affect a change in the shape of the lower third of the face and create wrinkles to form around the corners of the mouth. New dentures not only fit and feel much better but can also take years off your appearance. This case shows how replacing 30 year old dentures made this gentleman much younger in appearance. Stability and fuction were also greatly improved.

Reason for Undergoing Treatment: His dentures were very loose had warn so badly that his lower jaw had to move forward just to get his back teeth together. He didn't like the way they looked anymore.
